Patna: Irked over curtailment of bogies from
Danapur-Rajgir passenger train, commuters today squatted
on railway tracks and vandalised the Gulzarbagh railway
station under Danapur division of East Central Railways (ECR)
on the outskirts of the state capital, official sources said.
ECR Chief Public Relations Officer Dilip Kumar said the
passengers who were demanding that few more bogies should be
added to the train indulged in brickbatting and squatted on
railway tracks disrupting the movement of trains on this
section for few hours.
At present the passenger train between Danapur and Rajgir
runs with 13 bogies.
The situation is now under control, he said.
