Patna: As serial blasts rocked Patna ahead of Bharatiya Janata Party`s (BJP) prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi`s `Hunkar` rally on Sunday, JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav said that he will visit the site in the evening to assess the situation.

Yadav tweeted that investigation will reveal if anything wrong has taken place.

Yadav`s reaction comes after serial blasts took place in and near the venue of the rally Gandhi Maidan killing five people and injuring several others.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had earlier condemned the blasts as well and urged the people to remain calm.

Union Home Ministry has sent a team of NIA and NSG official to probe the incident.
