Prabhunath claims JD(U) MPs are in touch with him

Senior RJD leader Prabhunath Singh on Sunday claimed that 14 JD(U) MPs are in touch with him and the JD(U) parliamentary party would split.

Patna: Senior RJD leader Prabhunath Singh on Sunday claimed that 14 JD(U) MPs are in touch with him and the JD(U) parliamentary party would split.

Singh was reacting to BJP general secretary Ananth Kumar`s comment that RJD`s performance in the ongoing Assembly elections in the state would be an `all time low` and that the party would split after the polls.

``There is no substance in the claim of BJP ... Rather I foresee a split in the JD(U) parliamentary party with its 14 MPs maintaining touch with me,`` he said.
Singh, who crossed over to RJD from JD(U) recently after his relation soured with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, said NDA would face a humiliating defeat in the assembly poll.
