Patna: Activists of the Bihar unit of `India
Against Corruption` (IAC) on Tuesday held protested at different
places in the state in support of the movement launched by
Anna Hazare against corruption.
Lawyers under the banner of Bihar Income Tax Bar
Association and activists of the IAC staged a demonstration
and observed a fast near the main gate of Patna High Court,
State IAC Convener Sanjay Kumar Dutta claimed.
Similar protests were reported from different places in
the state, he said.
He claimed IAC activists continued their mass contact
programme to get popular support for Hazare`s movement.
"IAC activists are visiting every village and town in the
state as part of the wider campaign to express solidarity with
Hazare`s movement against corruption," he added.
