Chief Judicial Magistrate SP Singh allowed Patna police to issue warrant for Hasan Ali Khan, lodged in Arthur Road jail in Mumbai.
Singh asked the police to produce him by April 30, 2010.
Patna police had on March 24 seized documents from the Regional Passport Office here relating to issuance of passport on a fake address to Hasan Ali Khan.
"We visited the office of the RPO here and seized all the documents, including 97 files relating to the passport issued to Khan," city superintendent of police Shivdip Lande had said.
Patna police had made it clear that it would continue to probe how Khan, accused of stashing away billions of dollars abroad, got a passport from Patna on a fake address.
The Regional Passport Officer, Patna had on November 19, 2010 lodged an FIR against Khan for submitting fake residential proof.
