Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar described as a belated step the arrest of former Telecom Minister A Raja by CBI in the 2G spectrum scam and said people in power were expected to act in appropriate time.

"It is a belated action. Corruption is a big issue and if
people sitting in Delhi do not act in appropriate time, things
will turn against them," he told reporters here.

The exposure of a series of scams involving the Centre was
an apparent symptom of a major disease, he said.
