REA to be implemented in Bihar: Nitish Kumar

The CM said that action would be taken against private educational institutions if they violate the provisions for 25 per cent reservation from deprived sections of the society.

Right to Education Act in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar
on Monday said action would be taken against private educational
institutions if they violate the provisions for 25 per cent
reservation to admission-seekers from deprived sections of the
society.

"We will strictly implement REA in Bihar. Private
schools which are not adhering to the provisions under the act
will be sternly dealt with", Kumar said on the sidelines of
`janata darbar`.
