Patna: In a jolt to opposition RJD, its
senior leader Chitranjan Yadav on Sunday joined the ruling JD-U in
the presence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Yadav met the Chief Minister at his official residence and
joined his party.
The former RJD leader said he decided to join JD-U after
he was impressed by the performance of the NDA government in
Bihar and Kumar's "visionary leadership".
Welcoming Yadav in the party fold, Kumar said he will help
the JD-U further expand its base in the state.
