Patna: JD(U) criticised RJD on Saturday for its proposed march to Forbesganj on September 5 to protest against police firing in, which four minority community members were killed in June.

"RJD is trying to vitiate peace and social harmony in Bihar by raking up the police firing incident at a time, when a judicial probe is on in the incident," state JD(U) general secretary Ravindra Singh and MLC Sanjay Singh told reporters.

The opposition RJD is trying to play out a drama on a sensitive issue at a time, when the state government was committed to take strong action against all those found guilty in the incident, they said.

They flayed RJD with doing nothing to alleviate the condition of the minority sections, when they were in power for 15 years and charged its chief Lalu Prasad with felicitating the main accused of Bhagalpur riots case Kameshwar Yadav.

RJD leaders and workers under the leadership of Prasad will undertake a Forbesganj march from tomorrow from here.

They will reach Forbesganj on September 5, where the RJD president will meet the kin of those killed and injured in police firing at Bhajanpura village on June 3 before addressing a public meeting there.
