Rocky Yadav gets bail; Aditya Sachdeva's father urges Nitish Kumar to save Bihar from 'Jungle Raj'

Patna: A day after Patna High Court granted bail to Rocky Yadav, the son of a suspended JD(U) MLC, in a case of killing Aditya Sachdeva in Gaya over road rage, the victim's father on Thursday said it's a very bad day for Bihar.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the judgement, late Aditya's father Shyam Sundar said, despite of having all evidences, we were denied justice, adding that “money and power has again silenced the truth.”

The aggrieved father urged the Nitish Kumar government to save the state from jungle raj.

Patna HC Chief Justice Iqbal A Ansari granted bail to Rocky in the case in which Aditya, son of a Gaya businessman, was shot dead in May this year.

Rocky is accused of shooting class XI student Aditya Sachdeva on May 7 following an altercation over overtaking. His parents, who were accused of sheltering him, were recently enlarged on bail.

Rocky is son of suspended JD-U MLC Manorma Devi and a historysheeter Bindi Yadav.

Bindi Yadav is known to have links with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) of Lalu Prasad during the 1990s and early 2000s, and later became associated with the Janata Dal-United (JD-U), now led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Both RJD and JD-U form the ruling Grand Alliance in Bihar along with Congress.

Following a public outcry over Aditya Sachdeva's murder, the JD-U suspended Manorama Devi's membership of the party.

The couple's arms licences have been cancelled.
