A local court today rejected the petition of Rupam Pathak, accused of stabbing MLA Raj Kishore Keshari to death, that she be sent to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) for better treatment.

Purnia: A local court today
rejected the petition of Rupam Pathak, accused of stabbing MLA
Raj Kishore Keshari to death, that she be sent to Patna
Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) for better treatment.

Chief Judicial magistrate D L Prasad rejected the
appeal, filed by her lawyer Hemant Kumar, after going through
the medical reports of the district administration.

Purnia District civil surgeon Dr Ram Charitra Mandal,
in his report, submitted before the court that a medical
board, formed by the administration, had examined Pathak in
jail and found her healthy so there was no need to transfer
her to PMCH.

Pathak is accused of stabbing Keshari to death on
January 4 at his residence after she was allegedly sexually
abused by him and his associate Bipin Rai.
