Patna: A scuffle took place between some
mediapersons and the policemen at the entrance of the state
Assembly on Friday after security personnel tried to prevent
cameramen from discharging their duties.
The policemen on duty tried to prevent some cameramen of
electronic channels from taking bytes from politicians, but
the camera persons refused to yield leading to a scuffle
between the two sides.
Senior police officials intervened and restored order.
Later, the mediapersons informed the Public Information
Department Minister Brishen Patel about the "misbehaviour" by
the policemen. Patel assured them that action would be taken
against those responsible.
Elaborate security arrangements are in place for the
ongoing Budget session of the state legislature. The session
will end on April 4.
