Patna: The Nitish Kumar government has
invoked the Section 3 of The National Security Act, 1980 in
Bihar between January 2012 and March 31, 2012.
Rabishankar Kumar Kinha, under secretary to the
government, described it as a routine exercise.
He said the state government was pleased to direct
that all district magistrates of Bihar shall exercise the
powers conferred by sub-section (2) of the said section within
the local limits of their jurisdication for a period of
three month from January 1, 2012 to March 31, 2012.
