Patna: Describing as inadequate the security
arrangement in the Maoist effected pockets in Bihar, ruling
BJP today demanded that Election Commission took all steps to
ensure fair and peaceful fifth and final phases of election in
the state.

"It reflects that the security arrangements are not
adequate" state BJP President C P Thakur said while reacting
to the ultras killing one JD (U) activist in Dumaria police
station area in Gaya district early today.

He demanded that the Commission take all possible steps
to ensure fair and peaceful elections on November 9 and
November 20.

Deputy Chief Minister S K Modi suggested that if
necessary the Commission should seek deployment of more
central para military personnel for the next two phases of
election in Bihar.
