Kumar has been posted with office of Director General of Police.

Binod Kumar Raut will replace Deepak Ranjan as SDPO.

Three Station House Officers were put under suspension on Sunday night into the incident of beating up of activists of 'Chhatra Samagam', the student wing of JD(U).

Two 'Chhatra Samagam' leaders of Bhojpur district were beaten up by the police after being picked up from their houses on Saturday night for trying to climb a dais during Nitish Kumar's programme on Friday last.

Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi had strongly reacted to the beating up of 'Chhatra Samagam' leaders.

JD(U) also criticised the police action against Samagam leaders and demanded lawful action against the guilty immediately.
