Suspected Maoists abduct four traders in Giridih

Four traders of Giridih have been kidnapped by suspected Maoists in Bihar`s Nawada district, police said on Friday.

Giridih: Four traders of Giridih have been kidnapped by suspected Maoists in Bihar`s Nawada district, police said on Friday.

Karu Shaw, Hira Shaw, Meghan Shaw and Ajay Choudhary
went to Kauakol in Bihar`s Nawada district yesterday when the
left-wing guerrillas abducted them, Giridih Superintendent of
Police AV Homkar told reporters here.

Giridih and Bihar`s Jamui police have launched raids
in the forests on the borders to locate the abducted Mahua
traders, he said.
