Patna: A trainee police sub-inspector was
arrested for allegedly beating to death a middle-aged man in
Bihar`s Muzaffarpur district, police said on Saturday.
"The trainee SI Shailendra Kumar Singh has been sent to
jail and will be terminated from service within the next three
days." DGP Neelmani said here.
Singh along with three other policemen yesterday lynched
Md Shamsuddin at Rambagh locality, triggering a protest by the
locals which burnt two motorcycles and a jeep.
