Two Maoists held in Bihar

Ara: Two maoists, including its
self-styled zonal commander were arrested from Pero area in
Bihar`s Bhojpur district on Thursday, Superintendent of Police M R
Nayak said.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested a self-styled
zonal commander of the naxalites Binay alis Pankaj, carrying a
cash reward of Rs 25,000 on his head and his accomplice
Manish, Nayak said.
Police also seized five weapons including a couple
of rifles looted from police, besides 172 rounds of
ammunition, five detonators and several naxal literatures on
the information provided by the ultras.
