Two Maoists held in Bihar's Pavai

Two Maoists wanted in connection with murder of two chowkidars were on Monday arrested with arms and ammunition in the district, a senior police officer said.

Lakhisarai: Two Maoists wanted in connection with murder of two chowkidars were on Monday arrested with arms and ammunition in the district, a senior police officer said.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided Pavai village and nabbed Maoist Rigan Manjhi with a country-made pistol and two ammunition, Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar said.

Another Maoist Jitendra Paswan was arrested from Shivdih Mushari tola area of the district, he said.

Both the ultras were wanted in connection with the murder of two chowkidars in the district couple of months ago, Kumar said.
