Jamui: In a joint operation with CRPF, Bihar Police today arrested two Maoists in Jamui district of Bihar.
"Acting on a tip-off, Pintu Marandi (22) and Ganesh Ram (45), who are residents of Kamlu village in Laxmipur police station, were arrested during the operation," Laxmipur Station House Officer (SHO) Vivek Bharti said.
Marandi and Ram are members of CPI(Maoist) and have been involved in several cases of blasting railway tracks and mobile towers.
"The arrested persons were also involved in managing logistic supplies to the Maoists. They are being interrogated," Bharti said.
