Motihari (Bihar): A hospitalised undertrial
in judicial custody died of alleged cold attack at Sadar
hospital here today, police said.
Anand Kumar Verma was admitted to the hospital by the
divisional jail authorities about a week ago because of his
illness.
Angry relatives of Verma ransacked the hospital and
smashed furniture after his death this morning.
They accused the police of framing false charge against
Verma of committing irregularities in clearance of old-age
pension.
