Wish I was offered a piece of cake: Nitish on Modi’s b’day celebrations

Patna: "I wish Giriraj Singh offered me a piece of cake."

This was Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar`s response when reporters asked him about Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Minister Singh celebrating the birthday of his Gujarat counterpart Narendra Modi by cutting a 62-kg cake here.

Kumar also wished Modi and prayed for his long life.

"I too wish Narendra Modi a happy birthday and pray for his long life," he said.

When the mediapersons drew his attention to Modi being a projected as a probable Prime Ministerial candidate, Nitish only said, "It is between you and the minister."

Giriraj Singh cut the cake during the occasion celebrated under the banner of the Narendra Modi Fans Association (NMFA). He has publicly backed Modi`s candidature as the BJP`s prime ministerial candidate.
