Patna: A world-class museum will be
constructed in the state capital here for which a presentation
was given by experts from Canada-based international agency
Lord Cultural Resources to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar
on Wednesday.
During the two-and-a-half hour presentation the
experts briefed Kumar about the requirements for such a museum
and the options available before the government.
The rich heritage and other exhibits would displayed
at the proposed museum for which tenders for architect,
designer and builder would be floated after review by the
department of Arts and Culture, the chief minister said.
"I am very keen to see that the proposal takes final
shape and we will allot required funds," he said.
Department`s minister Sukhda Pandey, Secretary K P
Ramaiah, Secretaries to Chief Minister S Siddhartha and
Chanchal Kumar were also present.
