Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange on Tuesday
revamped its website making it more investor-friendly, with
addition of a wide range of features, including live streaming
quotes for Sensex scrips and advanced stock search.
The new website presents a wide range of features like
live streaming quotes for Sensex companies, advanced
stock reach, Sensex view, market galaxy, and members,
the BSE said in a statement.
The new-look BSE website is part of the ongoing
enhancements at the bourse.
Minister for Corporate Affairs Salman Khurshid today
inaugurated the new BSE website.
With 'live streaming quotes for Sensex companies' one can
view on a real-time basis, best bid and ask for quotes and
stock price movements for each of the scrips in the 30-share
Sensex.
"Our new website is part of many initiatives at the BSE.
The website is an integral part of information dissemination
and educating the investors and our new website ensures a much
faster information access for the investor community," BSE MD
and CEO Madhu Kannan said.
Further, advanced stock reach is an encyclopedia of
corporate information, whereas 'Sensex view' illustrates
pictorially the best and worst performers in the Sensex.
