Mumbai: Gigaset Communications, a leading
manufacturer of cordless telephones under the brand Siemens
Gigaset, today launched its new premium cordless phones in
India.
The company has launched four models--Siemens Gigaset
S880, Siemens Gigaset C580, Siemens Gigaset C360 and Siemens
Gigaset A680/A685.
The German-made cordless phones are now available in
Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata at electronics stores and
leading hypermarkets and its price is fixed at Rs 2,600
onwards per cordless telephone. The company plans to launch
the products in 15-20 cities in the next six months.
"Within a very short span of time, we plan to gain a
significant market share and shape the market to the benefit
of Indian customers," Gigaset Communications GmbH, Chief
Executive Officer, Jose Costa e Silva, told reporters here.
The new cordless phones by Siemens Gigaset offer high
quality performance and cutting-edge design. The models are
built for easy use and durability.
With the new ECO WDCT technology, the new S880, C580
and A680/A685 cordless phones are using up to 60 per cent less
energy in comparison to former, conventional handsets and the
phones offer the variable reduction of radiation.
