Nagpur: A huge cache of arms and ammunition
was on Sunday seized at Rajnandgaon area in Chhattisgarh state, police said.
On a tip-off, a joint operation was launched in the
Rajnandgaon forest area by Chhattisgarh police, Gadchiroli SP
Viresh Prabhu told reporters here.
During the operation, police recovered weapons which
included three 12-bore rifles, two carbine rifles. Among other
explosives were six claymore mines, 11 hand grenades, 178
gelatin rods and 32 detonators, the SP said.
The search operation is still on, Prabhu said.
