Raipur: Five Naxals, two of whom carrying
reward on their heads, were on Saturday arrested in Chhattisgarh`s
Narayanpur district, police said.
During a routine patrolling in the forest near Guttapal
village, a police team noticed some Naxals. On seeing the
security personnel, the extremists started running away but
police managed to arrest all five of them, Narayanpur SP
Mayank Srivastava said.
Of the five Naxals, two identified as Laxman and Aitu
were carrying a reward of Rs 20,000 and Rs 17,000 respectively
on them, he said.
