Raipur: Naxals attacked a BSF camp in Kanker
district of Chhattisgarh and fled after retaliation, police
said.
Naxals attacked a BSF camp at Udanpur in Koelibada police
station jurisdiction in Kanker district late last night but
fled after an ambush that lasted for half an hour, district
superintendent of police Ajay Yadav said today.
They fired at the camp from a distance of 100 yards from
Mendki river, which flows near the camp, he said.
Police and BSF have begun searching the area, the officer
said, adding that no BSF jawan was injured in the incident and
police have not found body of any Naxal so far.
