Raipur: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will on Wednesday directly interact with party office-bearers and elected representatives of panchayat and urban bodies in Chhattisgarh`s Raipur.
He will also discuss with them ways to strength the party in the state where the Congress is out of power for more than a decade.
Hundreds of party workers are expected to gather at the Budhapara Indoor stadium to get a chance to interact with Gandhi, who is said to have planned his Chhattisgarh trip all of a sudden.
State Congress chief Bhupesh Baghel told newsmen that Gandhi would hold direct discussions with the office-bearers to get feedback on key national issues ahead of the parliamentary polls due by May.
Such a programme was held in Bhopal, in which Gandhi exchanged views with women workers.
