Raipur: Three Naxals were Tuesday arrested
with arms and explosives from Kanker district of Chhattisgarh,
police said.
The Maoists were arrested from Rawghat area near Nimbra
village when a joint team of Special Police Officers and BSF
personnel were on a patrol in the jungles, Superintendent of
Police (Kanker) Ajay Yadav said.
Loaded guns, explosives, detonators, wires besides Naxal
literature were recovered from them.
The team was sent following a tip off about Naxal
activities in Nimbra jungles. When the security personnel
reached there, a group of ultras attempted to flee the area
and three of them were arrested after a confrontation.
