New Delhi: Infosys BPO, the business process
outsourcing subsidiary of Infosys Technologies, on Tuesday said it
will provide finance and accounting (F&A) services to Philips
in Latin America.
As a part of the agreement, Infosys BPO will support a
range of processes across Brazil, Argentina and Chile in areas
like accounts receivable, foreign exchange, local payments and
travel and entertainment expenses, Infosys BPO said in a
statement.
"The implementation of Infosys in Belo Horizonte marks a
new beginning in the relationship between Philips and Infosys
in Latin America," Philips LatAm chief financial officer
Ronald Eikelenboom said.
The company will provide language support in English,
Portuguese and Spanish and the services will be delivered from
its new centre in Belo Horizonte, it added.
"This deal emphasizes our ability to provide high-end
services strengthening our leadership in the global F&A
market. We continue to expand our partnership with Philips in
other geographies," Infosys BPO vice-president and head for
F&A Gautam Thakkar said
