Maruti Suzuki sees exports hit by Europe rules New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki expects exports of 130,000-140,000 vehicles in the current fiscal year but sees exports being hit next year by removal of incentives in Europe.

“We will see flat to lower exports next year because of the scrappage of incentives by Europe," said Shinzo Nakanishi, Maruti Suzuki's managing director and chief executive officer.

He also said there would be lower offtake from Nissan for exports as a result of the removal of incentives.

Nakanishi said the company aims to keep operating margins at 10 percent in fiscal year 2009/10 but profitability will be impacted by a rise in raw material prices and a rise in the yen.
