Suzlon secures turbine supply order from Australian firm Mumbai: Wind power major Suzlon Energy Wednesday said a company arm has bagged an order for supplying wind turbines to Australia's Infigen Energy.

Suzlon Energy Australia Pty Ltd has entered into an agreement with Infigen Energy for delivering 20 units of 2.1 MW wind turbine generators, Suzlon said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The wind turbine generators would be installed at one of the wind farms in Infigen's pipeline of future projects in New South Wales, Australia, the filing said.

However, the company did not disclose any financial details of the deal.

"This is Infigen's second wind farm to be supplied with Suzlon's S-88 2.1 MW turbine," Suzlon Energy Ltd Chief Operating Officer Sumant Sinha said.

Infigen Energy is currently in renewable energy business with interests in 41 wind farms across Australia, US, Germany and France.

Shares of Suzlon were trading at Rs 72.15, up 1.05 per cent in the morning trade on the BSE.
