New Delhi: Another 23 people tested positive
for dengue since yesterday, taking the total count of patients
afflicted by the disease to 526, MCD said today and denied it
was under-reporting the number.

Monga, MCD health committee chairman, said.
"Since October is the month when dengue cases are more
prevalent, an average of more than ten cases are being
reported daily," he said.
The first case of dengue fever was reported this year in
the month of March.
However, Monga said "this is less in comparison to the
dengue cases reported during this period last year. Over 5,000
cases were reported during this time."
Four deaths due to dengue haemorrhagic fever
have been reported in the city so far, the last being on
