3rd cut-off: Not much left for DU aspirants
Only a few seats are left for students to grab in Delhi University`s most sought after courses BCom(H) and Eco(H) as only 19 colleges declared their third cut-offs in these courses.

students to grab in Delhi University`s most sought after
courses BCom(H) and Eco(H) as only 19 colleges declared their
third cut-offs in these courses.
Moreover, popular colleges like Kirorimal, Hansraj and
Sri Venkateshwara, which did announce cut-offs in these
courses did not bring the required percentages down
substantially for the general category students.
Thirteen colleges today declared their cut-offs for
BCom (H), while only six declared their cut-offs for Eco(H).
In Kirorimal, where admission for Eco(H) course was
closed, the cut-off for B Com(H) came down by a marginal 0.5
per cent to 95.25. Hansraj, on its part kept the BCom(H) cut-
off same at 95.75 while bringing down its Eco(H) cut-off by
0.75 per cent.
At the Sri Venkateshwara college, the dip in BCom(H)
was again of 0.75 percentage point.
However, with these three colleges coming out with a
third cut-off, students who make into the new bracket are sure
to be overjoyed.
Admissions to Political Science too closed down in
many of the colleges, with only 13 declaring cut-offs in the
third list. Same was in Mathematics and Physics honours
courses, which are among the most popular in the Science
