New Delhi: AK Sachan, an officer of Indian Railway Service of Engineers, is the new Delhi Divisional Railway Manager.

He took charge of the division, considered as one of the busiest in the country in terms of passenger volume, from Ashwini Lohani.

Sachan was the chief engineer (construction) on Western and Central Railway and executed many projects in over-crowded Mumbai suburban section, a railway statement said.

He was also in-charge of creation of a new terminal station building at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on Central Railway in Mumbai.

INDIAN RAILWAYS has shown that they didn`t have any ability to gain their motive of `` SERVING CUSTOMER WITH SMILE`` by making improvements the passengers complaint. I had given number of time the complaints to Indian railways regarding the late running of INDORE - JAMMU TAWI - INDORE, MALWA EXPRESS and AMRITSAR - NANDED - AMRITSAR SACHKHAND EXPRESS as these trains are running daily late by more than 1:30 hours which causes a problem to lots of passengers. I had been posting the complaint from last one year but nothing has been done by the Indian railways to serve the customers with smile , by making trains runs on its shedule time. Not only these trains there are number of trains in INDIA which are daily made late due to unnecessary reasons making it difficult for the passengers to travel their journey & creating huge loss to them. Nearly 80% trains in India are running late. Today in this world of growing generation, RAILWAYS is only one of the best mode of transportation in INDIA but railways should be come forward and take a strict action to remove the late running of MALWA EXPRESS, SACHKHAND EXPRESS AND many other trains. I hardly request the Railways Minister and D.R.M. of New Delhi to take some strict action informing all the divisions in INDIA to remove the late running of trains so that all the passengers in INDIA can travel their journey happily and comfortably.
