New Delhi: After Mumbai, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will hold their second fund-raising lunch in the national capital on Sunday.
The cost per plate for the lunch is Rs 20,000 and has been organised by the traders wing.
To boost its war chest for the upcoming elections, the party held a fund-raising dinner featuring AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal in Mumbai on Thursday, where each entry cost Rs 20,000.
The event helped gather Rs 91 lakh for the party and boost its revenue.
It had adopted a similar strategy before Lok Sabha elections, when Kejriwal had taken part in such programmes across the country.
The party aims to collect Rs 30 crore for the up-coming assembly elections and has been carrying out several drives to boost its revenue.
