New Delhi: A day after eggs were thrown at Arvind Kejriwal at a rally in Delhi's Sultanpur Majra Assembly constituency, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday alleged that the incident could be a well planned setting between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress.
BJP leader Meenakshi Lekhi while reacting to yesterday's incident said that AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal will do anything for publicity.
"I maintain that AAP was set up by the Congress. They have set up this game. Either somebody who was disillusioned by AAP did it or it can be a setting between AAP and the Congress," she added.
The chief of BJP's Delhi unit, Satish Upadhyay, also alleged that the incident was well-planned.
"This has been happening to Arvind Kejriwal since a very long time. These are all planned," he said.
Earlier on Tuesday, eggs and a stone were thrown at Kejriwal while he was holding his third 'jansabha' in Sultanpur Majra Assembly constituency in north west Delhi.
