AAP heads for majority in Delhi; BJP leader Subramanian Swamy calls for introspection

New Delhi: As Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) heads for a majority in Delhi Assembly Elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday called for introspection within the party.

Swamy wrote on social networking website Twitter: “Time for introspection, reality check and course correction for the sake of the nation. Tripod mention in tweets has to be re balanced.”

Meanwhile, BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain echoed Swamy's sentiments, saying that the party will introspect on why people lost their faith in BJP.

Frenzied victory celebrations erupted today all across Delhi as AAP supporters burst crackers, beat drums and danced as the party headed to a victory in the Delhi election.

The biggest celebration was on at the AAP headquarters at East Patel Nagar in west Delhi where thousands of Aam Aadmi Party activists as well as supporters cheered every time the party won a seat.

Many waved AAP flags and others held photographs of party leader and former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.
