AAP launches broom as party symbol

Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday officially launched "broom" as the election symbol of his party.

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday officially launched "broom" as the election symbol of his party.

After the launch, Kejriwal swept central Delhi`s Valmiki complex that houses sweepers of the North Delhi Municipal Council.

"We are starting our journey from this holy ground and I am hopeful with this broom we will be able to cleanse society," said Kejriwal.
Thousands of supporters, wearing the white cap of AAP, were present at the launch.
