New Delhi: Amidst several controversies mounting over Aam Aadmi Party, singer-composer Vishal Dadlani took on corrupt politicians with choicest words at a concert `Rock the Ballot` organised by the party at Jantar Mantar on Saturday.

The singer repeatedly used the word `kamino` while referring to `corrupt politicians`. He substituted the lyrics of Kishore Kumar classic "Bachna Ae Haseeno" with "Bachna Ae Kamino, lo AAP aa gaya".

Over 12,000 supporters of the party attended the concert which had Bollywood personalities like Vishal Dadlani, Shilpa Rao, Rabbi Shergil, Meiyang Chang, Shruti Pathak and Mohan Agnee.

However, while admitting that he did indeed use the word at the concert, in his defence Dadlani said he hadn`t named anyone in particular.

Furthermore, he also wrote that nobody from the Aam Aadmi Party had objected when he said that those who have conducted the sting should file cases.

It comes close on the heels of incident where TV personality Rajeev Laxman had used an abusive word for Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde while campaigning for AAP candidate Shazia Ilmi at RK Puram on November 13. However, AAP had immediately apologised for the remarks the very next day and had issued the statement that it doesn’t encourage the use of such language.
