New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday pulled off a political masterstroke by saying that it will invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Delhi CM-designate Arvind Kejriwal to be held on February 14 at the Ramlila Maidan.
"We will invite the PM to the oath-taking ceremony of Arvind Kejriwal," senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia told reporters here.
Earlier in the day, in a congratulatory message to Keriwal, PM Modi had tweeted: “Spoke to @ArvindKejriwal and congratulated him on the win. Assured him Centre`s complete support in the development of Delhi.”

Kejriwal, while thanking PM Modi for the greetings, had said that he would like to meet him soon to discuss issues related to Delhi.
Arvind Kejriwal, whose party won a landslide victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, is scheduled to meet PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh tomorrow.
The former chief minister and his party reclaimed Delhi with a resounding sweep of 67 seats in a 70-member assembly today. The Bharatiya Janata Party opened its account with three seats while the Congress secured zero.
