New Delhi: Ousted Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Yogendra Yadav on Saturday said that the Arvind Kejriwal-led party is no different than the Congress or BJP in appointing non-experienced people for crucial government ranks.
"AAP had come with the expectations that they wanted to see a change but whatever is happening now is the same that happens in any other political party. They are making people like Swati Maliwal, who has contributed nothing towards women issues, the head of DCW. Same sort of things take place in the BJP or Congress, then how is AAP different?" asked Yadav.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has reportedly approved the facilities for party leader Ashish Khetan to which a Cabinet-rank minister is entitled, including a government bungalow, car and monthly salary.
The AAP is also planning to name Swati Maliwal, the wife of party leader Naveen Jaihind, as the next DCW chief.
