New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday attacked the Aam Aadmi Party over its funding ahead of the Assembly Elections in Delhi on February 7.
Addressing a press conference here, Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal's claim of morality has been exposed.
“AAP's political conduct has been contrary to the one preached by Arvind Kejriwal,” Prasad said further.
“AAP has allegedly claimed to be a custodian of certain standards - we're best, most honest, we'll make the nation transparent,” the BJP leader stated, adding AAP's claim of transparency is hollow.
AAP's funding has come under the scanner, with a breakaway group alleging the party received nearly Rs 2 crores in funding from bogus companies through hawala channels.
