New Delhi: In another embarrassing case for the Aam Aadmi Party, a court here on Thursday took cognisance of a complaint that a party MLA gave different educational qualifications in different election affidavits.
AAP MLA Bhavna Gaur furnished wrong information apropos of her education qualification in her affidavits, the complaint alleged.
In an affidavit she submitted during 2013 elections, Gaur mentioned that she was Class 12th pass. However, during the 2015 elections, she mentioned B.A. and B.Ed. as her educational qualification.
The AAP is already in the dock over the arrest of former law minister Jitender Singh Tomar in fake degree case. Tomar had resigned from his post after he was arrested by the Delhi Police in the case that embarrassed the AAP.
Tomar arrested on June 9. Police have slapped a case of cheating, forgery and conspiracy against him.
