Air India flyers can now check-in at Dhaula Kuan Metro station

Passengers flying by Air India can now check-in at Dhaula Kuan metro station of the Airport Metro Express.

can now check-in at Dhaula Kuan metro station of the Airport
Metro Express.

Delhi Airport Metro Express has started the passenger
check-in service at Dhaula Kuan station. Passengers will have
to check-in minimum 90 minutes prior to the scheduled
departure of their flight, an Airport Metro Express official
said, adding there is no luggage check-in facility at the
Dhaula Kuan station.

Air India has set up check-in counters at the metro
station. Passengers from Cantonment area and those in transit
from Haryana, Rajasthan would be benefited from this service.

"The check-in services at Dhaula Kuan station will help
the passengers who come from Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan get
rid of the long queues at the airport. Passengers can collect
their boarding passes at the metro station itself and go for
security check at the airport totally hassle free," said Anil
P Gupta, President of Reliance Infrastructure.

Fliers can check-in and collect their boarding passes
maximum six hours prior to their flight time.
After check-in facility at New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium
metro stations, this would be third station providing such
facility of the Airport Metro Express line network.

New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium stations also provides
baggage check-in facility to the Airport Metro passengers.

The high speed Airport Metro Express connects New Delhi
railway station to Dwarka sector 21 via Terminal 3 of the IGI
airport. The swanky metro network of six stations -- New
Delhi, Shivaji Stadium, Dhaula Kuan, Delhi Aerocity, IGI
Airport (T3 Terminal) and Dwarka Sec 21.

The service has a daily ridership of around 16,000 and
Reliance Infrastructure, the concessionaire of Delhi Airport
Metro Express, expects to attract more footfall from the
Dhaula Kuan station with the opening of the check-in facility.
