Another hot day for the capital

The national capital Tuesday recorded a minimum temperature of 27.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above average for this time of the year, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

New Delhi: The national capital Tuesday recorded a minimum temperature of 27.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above average for this time of the year, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
"The minimum temperature recorded for Tuesday was 27.5 degrees Celsius which is one degree above average for this time of the year," the IMD official said.
According to the Met office, the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 41 degrees Celsius as the day progresses, the official added.
