Former Delhi Commission of Women (DCW) chief Barkha Shukla Singh on Saturday claimed that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is not at all serious about `women safety` issues and is running a `kitty party` government in the capital.

New Delhi: Former Delhi Commission of Women (DCW) chief Barkha Shukla Singh on Saturday claimed that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is not at all serious about `women safety` issues and is running a `kitty party` government in the capital.

"What LG is saying is right, the work should be done according to the Constitution...Kejriwal ji is not at all serious about women safety. He is just interested in fighting and not interested in working. If he follows the procedure then work will be done," Shukla told ANI.

"Arvind Kejriwal ji is running the government it is nothing but `kitty party`," she added.

Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung had earlier refused to acknowledge Swati Maliwal`s appointment as the DCW chief, saying that AAP government did not take his approval before deciding on Maliwal`s appointment.

On Friday, Jung had criticized Kejriwal for his `inappropriate references` to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
