Bengaluru: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was today given massages and treated with abdomen pack as he underwent nature cure treatment for the second consecutive day at a naturopathy institute in the city outskirts.
The 46-year-old Aam Aadmi Party leader was admitted to the Jindal Nature Cure Institute for a 10-day nature cure regimen for treatment of his persistent chronic cough problem and uncontrolled sugar level.
"All treatments are going on as planned; he was given few massages including castor oil massage. Abdomen pack was among the other treatments he was administered today," Dr Babina Nandakumar, Chief Medical Officer at Jindal Nature Cure Institute, told PTI.
She said "blood test has been done today, and the reports will be available tomorrow."
Kejriwal is staying in an accommodation with two bedrooms, a hall and a treatment room, called "Nest" at the Institute, a specialty charitable naturopathy and yoga hospital in an eco-friendly campus of 100 acres.
A set of four senior doctors, including an acupuncturist, physiotherapist and a yoga officer, are taking care of Kejriwal during his stay at the institute.
The AAP leader has come to Bengaluru with internal turmoil in the party after the party's National Executive meeting in New Delhi on Wednesday eased out founder members Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan from the Political Affairs Committee, the party's key decision-making body.
