New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal`s indefinite hunger strike to protest increased power and water bills in Delhi entered eleventh day on Tuesday.
Doctors had said he had lost seven kg since he began his fast March 23.
Addressing supporters outside his house in Sundar Nagri in east Delhi, Kejriwal yesterday said: "My fast will continue."
He said that an opportunity to fight corruption had come after many decades, and they may not get another chance in many more years to come.
Social activist Anna Hazare Friday night had paid visit to his erstwhile team member and asked Kejriwal to break his fast.
Over 500 AAP volunteers were stopped by police here Monday as they headed to Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit`s house to deliver lakhs of letters protesting "inflated water and power bills".
Around seven lakh residents of the capital had signed the protest letters.
